Mission of HIV ATLAS

Mission of HIV ATLAS is to:

Maintain a Platform for Positively Proud People!

- Collect, Collate, Classify the information originating on a daily basis from various E-Groups, Forums, Websites and offline resources so that our users can be on top all information and do not have to visit all the individual groups and web pages daily. View the categories and primary resources of information. If you know of any resource or want us to add it to our daily newsletter, please share it with us.

- Work with PLHIV to help them build their resumes and explore the job opportunities. We at HIV ATLAS believe that there are many more organizations and businesses that are looking for right fit rather than the HIV status of candidates. If you are a PLHIV, we encourage you to post your resume for the potential employers to consider your candidature. You may also keep your resume private for the time when you do not want anyone to be able to access it.

- Work with potential employers; Organizations, Businesses and Governments to supply them with matching resumes of willing PLHIV candidates for their job openings. If you are an employer looking for candidates who are positive in their outlook irrespective of their HIV status, please register and browse through our resume database. You can also post your job opening with us and we will be happy to advertize it for free.

- Promote and advertize the employers with HIV workplace policies in place in our Hall of Fame. If you or someone you know has HIV workplace policies in place, please do inform us and we at HIV ATLAS will try our level best to promote that organization or business.

- Create a platform for individuals or organizations to post their surveys or polls through HIV ATLAS website and daily newsletter.

-Create a platform for free exchange of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) material to save on the invaluable resources in creating IEC material from scratch. Look at our Resource Center or if you have a piece of IEC material to share with others, please post it here.

- Editor’s pick for the most important current news related to either of HIV, TB and Malaria in our spotlight
